This event will inform delegates about doing business in China and provide more information about the forthcoming Midlands Engine market visit to China 7-11 November 2017. Attendees will also learn about the emerging Midland's strategy with China.

6. Derby and Derbyshire visit to Hefei and Anhui 9-10 November, Alan Smith, Derby City Council on the details of the dedicated itinerary for Derbyshire businesses

Attendees will leave having learnt something that will strengthen their international trade plans for China. Attendees will have met other businesses doing or planning to do business in China. Midlands Engine China Market Visit takes place 7-11 November 2017. This is for businesses who wish to start to or grow expand their trade with China. The visit centres on a large-scale China International Industry Fair (CIIF) taking place in Shanghai where the UK is the country of honour. Funding is available to eligible businesses. The market visit to China is a Midlands Engine initiative. The seminar is hosted by Derby City Council and is organised in partnership with Derbyshire County Council, Marketing Derby, Marketing Peak District and Derbyshire and the University of Derby.
Number of attendees is strictly limited and will be handled on a first come first served basis. A waiting list will operate if necessary.
