      Whilst all organisations differ tremendously in the security of their technology infrastructures, what they all have in common is ‘people’ – all of whom have the potential to be a threat. When security breaches make headlines, they tend to be about the catastrophic failure of technology.  BUT the reality of how this happened, whatever the size or scope of the breach is usually caused by an action, or failure of someone inside the company.  We will explain the work we do here at Central Technology, and how we work closely with organisations to remediate a wide range of IT and security threats, risks and complex issues. We will demonstrate that through our Strategic Review process, how we take the time to understand your organisation and IT infrastructure to ascertain the challenges you and your team face, how they interface with technology and how this can be improved to drive efficiencies and meet standards now, and in the future.
       
8.55am     BRM Solicitors, Amy Hallam and Glenn Jaques:  Disciplining staff – 
      Getting it right and ensuring the correct procedure is followed when investigating and holding meetings.We will be including do’s and don’ts as well as tactics to help avoid tribunals or tick the right boxes if you do end up at a tribunal – including a mock disciplinary hearing – and detail of the appeals process – 10 minutes introduction – 5 minutes to read papers.
