With high volumes of the workforce currently working from home or in the process of returning to the workplace, it’s becoming an increasingly important topic for all businesses to consider their approach to emotional wellbeing, mental health and overall organisational resilience. According to a recent survey, almost four in 10 (38%) of employees have been struggling with their physical health, while 42% were concerned about their self-awareness and resilience.
Covid-19 is not a one-off. SARS, MERS, and Ebola forewarned an inevitable global pandemic, and there is every reason to expect that we will see others in the future.
This session is delivered as part of the Business Resilience Conference programme.
This is your chance to benchmark your current efforts and get practical tips on how to further improve. Key themes include:
- Emotional Resilience requires actions before, during and after an incident (often for a long period afterwards)
- Why it makes good business sense
- It is a (proactive) leadership issue, not just an HR issue
- It involves soft and hard skills, with trust and reflective learning from recent experience being essential ingredients of future-proofing
With more than two decades of high-level experience in the corporate world, Richard brings to his coaching practice a unique perspective and drive to succeed. He has the ability to help his clients dive deep, as required, and to shift between narrow and wide focus depending on the context and goals.
