As business begin to return to some levels of normality, the way we travel to our places of work has become an issue and concern for employees and employers alike.

With the commute potentially being one of the biggest hurdles for a safe return to work, this session will explore the range of travel to work options which provide safety and confidence for commuters and therefore support your business to operate unhindered.

On the day we will hear from specialists who will provide an overview of how their operations have changed in reaction to the pandemic, how transport preferences have changed, what we can learn from the current situation and how we can use more sustainable ways to travel moving forward. Speaker/panellists include:

Zeelo is a safe bus-sharing company, providing smart transportation services for commuting, school runs and the public sector; equipped with social distancing and infection measures during the current situation

Zeelo use data and technology to find and digitalise fixed bus routes, targeting public transport deserts in order to connect people to places via sustainable transport; working with partners and existing local bus and coach fleets to operate at the times they are needed.

  • Robin Pointon, Founder and Managing Director, Go Travel Solutions

Go Travel Solutions is a specialist consultancy for sustainable transport, serving employers, public bodies and travel providers, focused on bringing together the best in transport, environmental and marketing practice. Robin has recently led a piece of research on how the Covid-19 pandemic is predicted to make dramatic changes in UK workplace travel patterns, which will be referenced on the day along with their recently launched ‘Return to Work’ support package for employers.

trentbarton is a bus operator based in Derbyshire and a major operating division of the Wellglade Group operating throughout the region, which has had to make significant adaptions in response to the pandemic, to continue to provide regular and safe travel.
