Event Overview
This session will explain the detail of the Electric Van Experience (EVE) which is a unique opportunity for Nottingham City based businesses to get access to and test drive a range of electric vans, the session will detail the offer and provide opportunities to ask questions.
Detail
With the Government ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles brought forward to 2030, EVE supports businesses to make the switch to electric vehicles. Not only are they more environmentally friendly, but they’re cheaper to run and maintain too.
The EVE project offers businesses, as well as voluntary and public sector organisations, in Nottingham City the chance to try one of 50 electric vans to suit their needs, including provision of a charge point at the business premises. This will give businesses and organisations the chance to experience first hand the financial and environmental benefits of greener vehicles, and provide operational confidence to make a permanent switch.
This opportunity has been made possible thanks to support and funding from Highways England, who have given Nottingham City Council £2.69m to deliver the service.
Who is this session for:
The EVE project is aimed at any size business that is based in Nottingham City, however we do welcome businesses and stakeholders outside this area who are interested in this project, supported and funded by Highways England
