This short briefing session will provide an overview of the DE-Carbonise project which has been created to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) increase their sustainability and save money by reducing energy costs and carbon emissions. Businesses must be based in in Derby and Derbyshire.
Support includes free on-site carbon reduction surveys, grants of up to £20,000 for carbon reduction measures (Derby City only) and technical and research support for product and process carbon reduction. The project is a collaboration between the University of Derby, Derby City and Derbyshire County Councils.
