Until recently, marketing automation software was exclusively the preserve of the enterprise organisation. Now, as cloud computing has brought down the cost of software, any business can make use of marketing automation within their digital marketing strategy. This action planning workshop is for marketing professionals and business owners who want to take advantage of the opportunities presented through using marketing automation in their business.

As ever more tasks are added to the to-do of marketing professionals, it’s no surprise that marketing automation is a hot topic in the industry. Whether you want to set up simple reminders that help keep your customers updated on your business, or you want to nurture leads from initial contact through to the closed-sale, marketing automation systems can help achieve your goals.

Join us for this three-hour workshop introducing you to the basics of marketing automation and giving you practical guidance to get started with a marketing automation plan for your upcoming campaigns.

Who should attend this online workshop?

This workshop is for any business owner or marketing professional who would like to learn more about marketing automation but doesn’t know where to start.

This workshop has limited places and priority will be given to trading SMEs based in Leicester and Leicestershire.

What will we cover?

  • The basics of marketing automation; logic, triggers and actions
  • Integrated systems vs All-in-One solutions
  • How to build a basic automation workflow
  • Introduction to branching logic

What outcomes can you expect from joining us?

After attending this workshop, you will:

  • Understand the core principles underlying marketing automation technology and implementation.
  • Know the key differences and the pros/cons of all-in-one systems versus integrated technology suites.
  • Be able to confidently implement some basic marketing automation “recipes”.
  • Plan for more complex automation routines.

This is an interactive, action planning online workshop. You will leave this session with handouts and a practical action plan which can be implemented within your business. Where possible, we would like to encourage you to join this session with your video camera turned on and when instructed by the facilitator, you may un-mute your microphone to take full advantage of the interactive nature of the workshop. For the best user experience, we recommend joining the workshop using Chrome or Firefox as your web browser.
