As Brexit continues to dominate the headlines we look at the facts and how to plan for longer term global trading activity with thus far undetermined trading conditions.
This interactive course is designed to give you the most up to date position on Brexit and how this might affect your business, and to give you some guidance on how to address issues this may raise. Furthermore, we will explore risk in international trade and how to identify and mitigate this in order to make informed decisions about opportunities for export growth.

Delegates will have a clearer understanding of the latest position on the Brexit negotiations, and how these might impact on both their existing international trade and any future export activity. They will also be able to understand different types of risk in international trade and how assess and mitigate these risks when targeting new export markets - especially when looking beyond the EU.
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for staff from within an organisation who have a responsibility for the management of and/or developing sales in overseas markets and also those involved in the export order process.
This one day workshop is delivered in a board room style environment from the Chambers modern training facilities and is limited to a maximum of 15 delegates. Lunch and refreshments are provided as part of this workshop and there is no requirement for delegates to bring any stationery or IT equipment.
About the Trainer
An accredited member of the Institute of Export for twenty years, the trainer runs her own business, delivering international trade support, advice and training to companies across the UK. Extensive experience of delivering training for the DIT and British Chambers of Commerce, offering accredited and independent public and in-house courses.
