First Line Manager Development Programme
First-line managers operate their departments. They assign tasks, manage work flow, monitor the quality of work, deal with employee problems, and keep the middle and executive managers informed of problems and successes at ground level in the company.
The course is designed in a modular format for those who are, or aspire to be managers of others. The course is focused on the key topics needed to be effective and efficient within a first line manager role – where decisions made often have implications on others including those in other departments and upon internal and external customers and partner organisations.
Reasurring to meet managers from other organisations, experiencing similar issues. The course has given me the confidence to go on and be an effective manager. Really enjoyed learning about new tools and techniques in a supportive environment - will miss the group
