What’s covered?
In the first part of the event there will be a presentation on understanding neurodivergent staff (the umbrella term which refers to individuals who behave think and learn differently to those who are “neurotypical”). All of the research suggests that neurodivergent individuals can bring a lot to a workplace but they are often misunderstood and that leads to them being subjected to unfair and discriminatory treatment. Knowing how to support your staff who are neurodivergent and knowing what not to do is vital. In this session you will be given the groundworks to get things spot on to create a supportive and inclusive environment so your neurodiverse staff can thrive.
But it doesn’t end there! In the second part of the session we will look at case studies and have an opportunity to discuss and explore what we have looked at in the first session.
There will also be an opportunity to ask as many questions as you like from the Precept team.
