Free to attend, this is an informal business breakfast that enables Chamber-members and Chesterfield Champions the opportunity to raise any day-to-day issues or observations for Westminster’s attention.
In the run-up to Brexit and with no formal agenda as such, a broad cross-section of local business-leaders will be invited to air their views on a range of issues affecting current levels of business and investment confidence.
Toby Perkins first became MP for Chesterfield in the General Election of 2010.
Toby was the Shadow Minister for Armed Forces up until June 2017, and he has also served as Shadow Minister for Small Business, Shadow Minister for Children and Families and sat on the DCLG and International Trade Select Committees.
Before becoming an MP, Toby was a Chesterfield Councillor and ran his own small business supplying rugby clothing, as well as being a shareholder in a social enterprise providing nursery care to one of the most deprived areas of Chesterfield.
