Government Announces £6.2bn Spending Cuts
Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne and Chief Secretary to theTreasury today announced details of the propsed £6.2bn of savings from Government spending in 2010-11.
The Department of Business, Innovation and Skills will have £836m trimmed from its Budget during the next financial year as the new government battles to get to grips with the UK's deficit.
