New Office Celebrations Hailed A Great Success
The opening of Shorts Chartered Accountants prestigious new offices on Ashgate Road in Chesterfield was celebrated in style, with an official launch evening earlier this month. Despite appalling weather conditions, around 300 business owners and local professionals enjoyed a guided tour of the premises and entertainment in a large marquee in the grounds. The new development has been built around the foundations of the original Victorian offices previously occupied by the Chartered Financial Planning business and like the firm itself, provides a sympathetic blend of traditional values and forward-thinking ideas.
Partner Andy Irvine commented “We are extremely proud of our new offices, and the celebrations were a fitting way to officially mark the opening. Shorts was founded in 1890, and throughout our 120 year history, we have built a reputation for providing a quality service with honesty and integrity. We had previously been working from three separate locations in Chesterfield, and the time was right for us to move into modern premises that reflect the firm as it is today.
The new, convenient and professional town centre offices mark the start of an exciting new chapter for Shorts. Supported by our Sheffield offices on Ecclesall Road, Shorts has a team with unrivalled experience and qualification which allows us to look forward to the next 120 years with confidence.”Back
