Grants Available For Security Measures

The ‘Business Crime Prevention Grant Scheme', which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), has been set up with the aim of the helping eligible SME's across the two districts deter and prevent criminal activity by supporting the implementation of crime reduction measures.

Eligible businesses can apply for a 50% grant towards the cost of security measures, with a minimum grant of £1,000 and maximum grant of £5,000.

Indicative works that can be supported include CCTV, alarms, building security measures such as installation of gates/roller shutters/security grilles.

Support is limited to SMEs (up to 250 employess) in the service/industrial sectors only.
