DNCC QES For Q1 Now Online
The Chamber's Quarterly Economic Survey is recognised as a key economic indicator by Government, the Bank of England and independent economists. Responses are analysed by sector, size and geography and feed into the UK’s largest regular economic survey. Fieldwork for the latest survey - covering Q1 2013 - is underway now.
Given the flux in the economic situation, it is important to get an accurate reflection of business performance in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire in order to present a consolidated view. Therefore, your responses are essential.
In the latest survey, the Chamber is seeking views about:
> the UK’s relationship with Europe and what powers, if any, that you feel should be transferred back to Westminster.
> the importance of air connectivity and decisions behind your choices of airports.
> the new high speed rail network with stations at Toton in the East Midlands and Meadowhall in South Yorkshire
> the actions that the Chancellor should take in the budget.
The Chamber is looking to conduct the survey electronically, but please do contact us if you would like to request a paper copy. The deadline for responses is 13 March 2013. This is important research that helps the Chamber to represent your views. There will be a lot of interest in the results, so please do take a couple of minutes to complete all parts of this two page survey that are relevant to your organisation.
