Stormclad Dubbed 'Good Samaritans' by the 4th Hucknall Scouts
Just days before Christmas, vandals broke into the 4th Hucknall Scouts Hut, causing it to be unsafe. Stormclad, the Nottinghamshire based home improvement firm stepped in to save the day.
The firm located in Basford, Nottingham supplied and fitted a new fire door free of charge, and also replaced a second faulty door.
A spokesperson from the 4th Hucknall Scout Hut said: "The Hut was unsafe to leave, so Stormclad came to our rescue by supplying and fitting a new fire door free of charge. We would like to sent a big thank you to our Good Samaritans Stormclad for making our Scout Hut safe and secure, with the bonus of it now looking great too."
The company, which has been established for over 16 years, specialises in installing fascias, soffits, conservatories, double glazing and doors. It is keen to transform the traditional reputation of the home improvement firm by actively helping local community groups and charities with their renovation and improvement projects.
A spokesperson for Stormclad said: "When we heard about the break in at the 4th Hucknall Scouts Hut just before Christmas we were horrified to hear that anyone would do such a thing just before Christmas and to a group of youngsters. We contacted them straight away to see if we could help and we were able to get them back up and running again."
