Steve Walker, Chairman of IoD East Midlands Young Directors’ Forum (YDF), which regularly holds business-focused and social networking events across the region for current young business entrepreneurs, is one of the organisers.

He said: “The main aim of the convention is to bring together some of the region’s leading young directors with an entrepreneurial theme.

"We have speakers from both large, SME and public sector organisations, in order to provide a comprehensive overview of how people can deliver entrepreneurship within different settings and backgrounds.”

The IoD East Midlands hosts one of the UK’s main forums for Young Directors and leads the UK with its 400 student membership who are the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The half day convention, which includes lunch, runs from 12.30-16.15.
