D2N2 Set To Launch New Growth Plan
The Local Enterprise Partnership for Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire will unveil its plan after months of consultation with business leaders, local authorities, training providers and other key players in the private and public sector.
That consultation is still ongoing but in July, the Growth Plan will set the scale for the ambition of D2N2 LEP, as well as the programmes and opportunities for action to achieve its goals.
“The launch provides the opportunity for me to set out the vision for how we will accelerate economic growth in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area,” said D2N2 Chief Executive David Ralph.
“It also provides a commitment to have an Annual General Review meeting where we will report on the performance of the area over the past 12 months and some of the challenges and opportunities going forward.
“We will formerly publish our Growth Plan and set out the key steps for developing that into a case to Government for investment. Also, we will be publishing our State of the Sub Region report which sets out the performance of the economy over the past 12 months.
“We want to hear feedback from businesses and other stakeholders as to whether we have established the right priorities and that will be part of our ongoing desire to have a dialogue with businesses and other stakeholders to drive growth.
“We want to see as many people there as possible. It is a great chance to network and for us to gain feedback.”
The free event will take place between 8am and 10.30am on Tuesday, July 9 and to register your interest, simply fill in the online form on this page.Back
