Deadlines Loom for Chamber Surveys
Only by knowing what its members want and what their hopes, aspirations and concerns are, can the Chamber effectively lobby Parliament and ensure the services it provides are those members want.
And to ensure that members are accurately represented it is essential that sufficient numbers complete online surveys.
Those who have not already done so are therefore being urged to fill in the Members Satisfaction Survey before the current one closes on June 7.
It gives them the opportunity to have their say on the many products and services included in Chamber membership and to discuss what is important to them, what they would like to see in the future and what can be improved.
The results of the survey will be analysed and suggestions will be put into practice wherever possible.
It takes around five minutes to complete the DNCC Membership Survey 2013.
DNCC members who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw for £100 of Chamber vouchers that can be used towards the cost of any Chamber service (not against membership subscription renewals).
The Chamber's Q2 Quarterly Economic Survey is also currently underway, focusing on the aspects that affect firms' performance, as well as smarter working practices, red tape burdens, business support and access-to-finance also feature in a survey that only takes a couple of minutes to complete online.
The largest survey of its kind in the UK, it helps inform the Chamber of its members' priorities so that DNCC can lobby to improve conditions on their behalf. It is also held in high regard by key influencers such as the Bank of England.
Members' participation is crucial to getting a balanced outcome and the DNCC Q2 Quarterly Economic Survey takes only a couple of minutes to complete online.
The deadline for responses is 14 June 2011.Back
