Only A Few Places Remain For High Peak Showcase Event

SMS LogoBusinesses in the High Peak can network, make new contacts and get new customers next week when DNCC's popular Showcase, Market and Sell roadshow comes to Buxton.

But they'll have to act quickly if they want to take part, as only a few places remain.

The free event, which takes place at the Palace Hotel on 2 July, will give businesses the opportunity to showcase their company to other local firms.

More than 35 local exhibitors are expected to attend and along with all the networking opportunities, Steve Henderson of BT will speak about the commercial rollout of superfast fibre broadband and what this will mean for businesses and residents in the High Peak.

Plus, Jon Egley, from the Chamber's eBusiness Club, will teach delegates how to develop an effective social media profile to make the right impression online.

You can find out more about the event - and book your place - here.

DNCC Chief Executive George Cowcher said: "Whilst there may be a few positive signs that things are starting to pick up out there, trading conditions remain tough for some businesses and the Chamber is doing all it can to help support the private sector here in Derbyshire until the recovery of the UK economy is fully secured.

"This event is the latest in a major programme of roadshows which aim to give small and medium sized businesses the chance to make new contacts, develop trading relationships and discover different ways of reaching more people with the products and services they offer."
