Yorkshire Bank's business week
Yorkshire Bank has launched a Business Week as part of its ongoing support for businesses in the Midlands.
Business Week runs today until Friday 8 November and will see the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank network of 44 Business and Private Banking Centres across the UK host more than 200 free events for local companies.
There will be more than 30 events taking place across the Midlands, both in regional centres like Birmingham, as well as dozens of other seminars and conferences across the Yorkshire Bank network, at locations including Gloucester, Leicester, Nottingham and Peterborough.
In addition, some of the Bank’s retail branches will be providing opportunities for small business customers to showcase themselves to existing and potential new customers, and offering drop-in surgeries for small businesses to speak to the Bank about some of their business needs, such as managing payments.
Brian Colquhoun, Yorkshire Bank’s regional director for the Midlands, said: “As the economy improves, more businesses are looking to invest in growth; we are here to support them. That support is not simply about providing finance. It is putting together the right financial package for individual businesses’ needs, plus the advice and connections to maximise the growth opportunities.
“Business Week is a chance to bring local businesses together, talk to them, listen to them, understand their goals, and to provide solutions that will help them make the most of the recovery and turn it in to sustainable growth.”Back
