Penny drops in to partner Blusource
Blusource, the Nottingham-based supplier of strategic recruitment and advisory solutions, is continuing its expansion by entering into an exclusive partnership with career and employment coach Penny Strutton.
The partnership, a first for the Nottingham recruitment sector, will enable Blusource to offer candidates and clients the full range of Penny’s employment performance and team coaching skills, including out-placement and on-boarding, change management, employee retention, motivation and confidence building and skills development.
Speaking about the partnership with Penny, Bjorn Jones, director at Blusource, said: “We are working with Penny to increase the service offering to both our candidates and clients. With the large volume of candidates registered with Blusource we wanted to be able to give them extra support in their career development and job search.
“While our consultants give advice when meeting candidates in terms of CV support and interview coaching, we wanted to take it a step further and take it to a new level, which Penny can offer.”
Bjorn added: “Penny will be entirely focused on and specialises in this area; she is able to dedicate more time and in-depth support on the person's wider job search strategy, development of how they are portrayed in the job market , including CVs and social media sites such as LinkedIn, but also in areas such as confidence and motivation which are just as important when looking to progress your career and find that next opportunity.

Talking about her new partnership with Blusource, Penny said: “Blusource is renowned for going the extra mile for its candidates and clients, and so it was a perfect match for me. We both want to deliver a quality service and I could see real synergies where I could help realise this vision.
“The recruitment industry has recognised that it has to change; it’s no longer about pushing unqualified candidates forward to simply fill a vacancy – that helps neither the client nor the candidate in the long run. Prior to starting her own business, Penny worked in senior positions for over ten years. She managed a nationwide Government programme with a mix of technical contractors, a budget in excess of £1.2m and national marketing campaigns as well as numerous other projects simultaneously.Back
