Superfast Broadband Launch on Pride Park
A national provider of superfast broadband is celebrating ‘going live’ at its first Derby site.
WarwickNet, which specialises in connecting business parks, has made a huge investment in the area and is now offering organisations in Pride Park the chance to take advantage of superfast broadband delivered by its two on site cabinets.
Operating under the SuperConnected Derby scheme, companies across the business park can receive Government grants entitling them to upgrade their internet to a superfast package, such as that provided by WarwickNet.
The first customer, recruitment company New Line Sales Recruitment Solutions, has already started using the service and is now enjoying download speeds of 60 Mbit/s (WarwickNet broadband speeds range from 40 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s).
High-capacity leased lines of up to 1 Gbit/s are also available across the park.
Mark Hitchcock, business development manager at WarwickNet, said: “WarwickNet’s presence on Pride Park, along with the government grants available, means that there really is no reason for the businesses operating here to suffer from poor connectivity.
“Working alongside SuperConnected Derby, we hope to make life easier for organisations across the county by providing tailored solutions which fit individual needs. If you work on a business park and want to become better connected, please do get in touch.”
WarwickNet is also set to bring high-speed connections to sites at Osmaston Park and Shaftsbury Street Industrial Estates in the coming months.Back
