Pavilion opens at Scalford Hall

Mayor John Wyatt and Colin Warburg, Director of Scalford Hall HotelScalford Hall Hotel in Melton Mowbray has unveiled its new Pavilion.

It was opened on 4 March with Mayor John Wyatt cutting the ribbon alongside Scalford Hall Hotel Director, Colin Warburg.

Guests enjoyed a drinks reception and canapes, followed by a speech by Scalford Hall Hotel General Manager, Peter Watkins, who offered an insightful presentation of the history of the hotel, recent developments and upgrades to the building and the diverse range of event facilities available through the addition of the Pavilion, finishing with positive employment news for the local community.

"We have a solid reputation as a premier year-round events facility and are delighted to now be able to cater for much larger functions in excess of 400 both in the private and corporate sector going forwards. We will be working hard to promote not just ourselves, but the Melton Mowbray community, at both a regional and national level." said Mr Warburg.

He added: "We are certain that the addition of the Pavilion will showcase the dedication and training of our service teams and the high quality level we have set as our mission."

Private event bookings are already being taken for weddings, summer balls, proms and parties with huge interest being shown for trade fairs and exhibitions, seminars and corporate entertainment.

Scalford Hall Hotel is a 77-bedroom country house hotel in Melton Mowbray.
