Businesses urged to plan for future
All businesses are affected by unforeseen circumstances and if they don’t have the correct legal measures in place when something goes wrong it can cause serious financial and personal problems.
To help businesses plan for the future and protect themselves, Stopfords Accountants, Elliot Mather Solicitors and NatWest Bank are hosting a free Business Protection Seminar.
The seminar will be held at 8.30am on Thursday 23 April at The Towers, Botany Avenue, Mansfield, NG18 5NG.
All attendees will also have the opportunity to book a free consultation with any of the speakers involved.
At the seminar attendees will learn about the different legal documentation that needs to be put in place and understand how to secure the future of their business.
It will cover key topics including succession planning, wills, shareholders and partnership agreements, power of attorney, alternative forms of business funding and protection insurance.
Speakers at the event include Judi Wigmore and Joanna Dawson from Elliot Mather Solicitors, Brian Stopford from Stopfords Accountants and Ken Lawson and Michael Jones from NatWest Bank.
Brian Stopford, Director of Stopfords Accountants, said: “We are delighted to be working in conjunction with Elliot Mather and NatWest to provide businesses with valuable support on business protection at this free seminar.
“Many businesses aren’t prepared for when something goes wrong whether it’s a falling out, bereavement or serious injury. It’s vital that businesses have the right measures in place to manage these situations effectively and protect the future of the business.”
