Give up the car... for a day

Workers at Ransom Wood are being encouraged to give up their cars for a day this month and use green methods for commuting.

The car-cutting drive is part of the woodland-based office, restaurant and children’s nursery site’s Earth Day initiatives.

Walking, running, cycling, roller-blading and skate-boarding would all be acceptable means of getting to work on the day.

Earth Day, which takes place on 22 April, is a global initiative to get people to cut down their dependence on cars.

For those that take part on the day, there will be a complimentary coffee and a pastry awaiting you at Forever Green when they arrive.

Ransom Wood is a an office park based in 70 acres of woodland.
