PKF Cooper Parry seeks volunteering opportunities
Business advisory and accountancy firm PKF Cooper Parry is appealing to local organisations and charities to put forward community projects for its staff to take part in as part of its company-wide volunteering programme.
The firm, based at East Midlands Airport, is looking for suggestions for projects which need teams of around 30 people to help out for a day during their Community Week which will be held from Monday 24 August – Friday 28 August.
Anything will be considered from painting a building, clearing an outdoor space, gardening or any other support a community project would require.
CEO at PKF Cooper Parry, Ade Cheatham, said: “We’d love to hear from charities and organisations which would benefit from our help as we have 230 members of staff raring to go and ready to get stuck in.
“We want to get all our staff out of the office during that week to do a community day for a local cause in the East Midlands.
“We’re looking for seven or eight different projects spread across all three cities - Leicester, Derby and Nottingham and are appealing to local charities to get in touch.
“'Be generous' and 'make a difference' are two of our core values and I’m really excited about our team pulling together and giving something back to our local community.”
PKF Cooper Parry has raised over £600,000 for charities across the East Midlands over the past ten years, including Macmillan, Alzheimer’s Society, Loros Hospice, Rainbows Hospice, Headway and many more.
PKF Cooper Parry would like interested charities or organisations to get in touch with them no later than 13 July with suggestions of projects. Call Melanie Campbell on 01332 411163 or email email@example.com for further information.Back
