Digital marketing agency to boost hospice funds

Digital marketing agency Hallam Internet is entering a Dragon Boat Race to raise funds for Rainbow Hospice for Children and Young People.

The race takes place on Sunday 2 August as part of the Nottingham Riverside Festival.

Managing Director Susan Hallam said: “We believe in working hard, as a united team, and this opportunity is just a fun way to bond further, outside of the office.

“If we can work on improving lives, albeit marginally, for such a worthy organisation like Rainbow Hospice, we are definitely up for it.

“We liked taking part in the Dragon Boat Challenge in the past It is always an unforgettable and rewarding day. I think that the group camaraderie is just as important as physical commitment.

“We do not have a specific financial target in mind, but it goes without saying we would like to raise as much as we possibly can for Rainbows.

“That said, 2015 also happens to signify a notable milestone for us because we celebrate 15 years in business. As a result, we’ve decided to raise at least £2,015.”

A Just Giving page has been created for friends, family, and clients to sponsor Team Hallam and an intensive social media campaign will raise awareness of both the event and the cause.
