Lunch-hour workshop on FRS 102 impact
Changes to the way firms have to report their annual finances will be explained at a paid-for event being organised by Chamber member Burgis &Bullock.
The chartered accountants, with offices in Leicester, will clarify what impact FRS 102 - the latest UK GAAP (generally accepted accounting practice) which came into effect in January, will have on businesses.
"FRS 102 will apply to the majority of large and medium-sized businesses and it is estimated that approximately 1.5 million smaller companies will also move to FRS 102," Burgis & Bullock says on its promotion of the advice session.
It then asks: "Even if you are a small company, have you thought about whether your parent company might require you to use this new UK GAAP or whether you could improve your tax position by applying it?"
Burgis & Bullock will be hosting a lunch-hour workshop on FRS 102 on Thursday 6 August at its Leamington Spa offices. Fees apply. For further information visit the firm's website.Back
