Have Your Say on Local Travel Initiatives
Businesses in Leicester are being invited to learn about plans for future transport initiatives in the city.
A free ‘Shaping Future Transport Initiatives for Leicester’ Forum is being hosted by Go Travel Solutions for Leicester City Council.
The event takes place from 4-6pm on Tuesday 25 August at The Innovation Centre, Oxford Street, Leicester.
At the Forum, businesses will learn about how the city plans to provide a transport system that meets its strategic objectives of reducing congestion, emissions and noise, while improving journey times, connectivity and air quality.
Attendees can also help to shape the Air Quality Action Plan and the bid to the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV).

Feedback from the local business community on the future transport strategy across the City and the County is also required for a new Workplace Travel Survey.
The survey, undertaken for Leicestershire Business Voice by Go Travel Solutions, is aimed at business managers. Results of the survey will be fed back to Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and the Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership to help influence future transport strategy across the City and the County.
The survey can be completed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/LBVWorkplaceTravelSurvey by Wednesday 26 August. The Chamber accepts no responsibility for content of third party websites.Back
