Regus Express hub opens at Nottingham’s Hilton
Global workspace provider Regus will open one of its innovative Regus Express locations at the Hilton Hotel, Milton Street, Nottingham, on Monday.
The new generation workplace offers local firms and people working on the move a working environment that suits their increasingly flexible professional lifestyles.
It will take the number of Regus' UK centres to over 320 - evidence of the company’s UK network expansion to meet rising demand.
It will be the third Regus Express to open in an hotel and it brings a new dimension to Hilton Nottingham’s existing range of meeting and conference facilities.
The site features a drop-in business lounge providing professional workspace, free, secure Wi-Fi and complimentary refreshments.
Additionally, high specification meeting rooms, seating two to four people, are bookable by the hour.
Demand for ‘third place’ work locations is growing steadily, driven by increasing mobility and the rise of remote, flexible and multi-location working.
Research by Regus found that 40% of UK workers spent at least two-and-a-half days a week working away from their main office.
Similarly, a third of UK employers were offering their staff more flexible working options.
Technology makes it possible to ‘work anywhere’, yet most people preferred an office-style environment to remain productive, motivated and disciplined, the research found.
Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, said: “We know that more and more people are working flexibly, instead of being constrained to the traditional 9-5 in the office. Consequently we are seeing consistent growth of interest in flexible working options.
“The opening of another hotel location testifies to the need for bespoke and dedicated business spaces that match today’s flexible workforce.
"We are seeing month-on-month growth in interest in Regus Express as retailers, transport operators and universities all switch on to the commercial opportunity presented by the mobile work and business travel market.
“We are confident that this latest site will prove popular with business travellers and local firms alike.”
The Regus Express network in Britain includes motorway service areas, retail parks, shopping centres and airports.
There are two ways to access Regus Express centres: Pay-as-you-go access priced from £5 an hour or £10 a day or via Regus Businessworld membership at £49 a month, which provides drop-in access to the business lounges at each of Regus’ 320 UK locations including Regus Express.

One of the benefits of Chamber membership is a Regus Blackcard which gives discounted access to Regus services.Back
