NM Group completes Enderby office project
The 22,600ft building, which will be occupied by the Travis Perkins Group, comprises a glazed central atrium with three-storey wings either side, creating Grade-A, modern, user-friendly office accommodation.
It has been designed for flexibility, with the office space being open plan but allowing for the erection of partitioning.
The building also contains spacious meeting rooms, toilets, locker rooms and shower rooms, including disabled facilities.
The structure comprises a steel frame with reinforced concrete floor slabs on permanent metal formwork and pre-cast concrete emergency staircases.
The external elevations are clad in facing brickwork with feature banding and aluminium windows. The roof was constructed using a traditional truss system with concrete roof tiles. All the materials used were chosen for their low maintenance qualities.
External areas have been designed to integrate with the rest of the Grove Park development.
There is parking for over 120 vehicles and the landscaping includes a mix of amenity seeded grass, species-rich grassland and planted beds to provide a wildlife habitat.
“We have an excellent working relationship with Grove Park Commercials, having worked on previous projects with them, and it was a pleasure to deliver this scheme for them,” said Peter Stuart, building division head of construction.”Back
