Buoyant business scene to boost numbers at expo
Renewed confidence in the economy and property market is expected to lead to a healthy turnout of investors at this year’s East Midlands Expo Show.
With record numbers of businesses choosing the East Midland’s region for its transport links, skilled workforce and high quality of life, organisers are confident this year’s event will be the best yet.
The event is taking place at the East Midlands Conference Centre on 11 November and incorporates the 16th annual Property and Business Investment Show as well as the East Midlands Business to Business Trade Fair.
Regarded as one of the key events in the annual calendar for business investors and professionals, the free to attend Expo Show is set to attract hundreds of delegates seeking more information on the buoyant East Midlands property and business scene.
Now in its 16th year, The Property and Business Investment Show has witnessed first hand the ups and downs of the sector since 1999.
After a difficult few years the property scene in the region is now going through a period of growth and event organisers are expecting this to be reflected in strong support for this year’s show.
More than 70 exhibitors have taken a stand at this year’s event, which is sponsored by JohnEWright, Shake Social & Invest East Midlands.
Held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, based on The University of Nottingham’s main campus, the show has inward investment as a key theme and includes free morning and afternoon seminars.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to attend a VIP lunch with keynote speaker Rob Brown, networking expert and best selling author.
Event organiser Tina King said the East Midlands is attracting record numbers of businesses attracted by the region’s great transport links, skilled workforce, and high quality of life.
“The East Midlands is a diverse and business-friendly region and record numbers of employers are realising this is a fantastic place to operate a business.
“We are seeing huge amounts of inward investment with more and more companies choosing either to relocate here or to start a new business from scratch,” she said.
The full day event is free to attend and there is ample free parking available at the venue.
Those opting for the VIP lunch event will learn how to make the most of their networking opportunities with a presentation from Rob Brown, Nottingham-based author of 'How to Build Your Reputation' and business advisor to a number of blue chip clients.
Rob, who also runs the Networking Coaching Academy, will be speaking about his own adventures in business and networking and giving tips and insights to delegates wanting to expand their networks and grow their businesses.
