Live Autumn Statement Webchat

Chancellor George Osborne launches the Midlands Engine for GrowthThe Chamber is teaming up with member Turner and Townsend to host a live Twitter chat on Wednesday 25 November to give some instant reaction to Chancellor George Osborne's Autumn Statement and Comprehensive Spending Review.

Chris Hobson, the Chamber's Director of Policy and External Affairs and Michael Henson, Turner and Townsend's Associate Director, Local Government, will lead a panel of around a dozen business leaders, representing a range of sectors from across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, as they give their initial reaction as measures are announced.

Turner and Townsend and the Chamber will be on hand to give broader analysis from a business, political and economic perspective.

A live Twitter feed will be hosted on the Chamber’s website on this page between Noon and 2pm and businesses can join the debate using the hashtag #EMCAS2015:
