Boom steps ahead with Shoe Zone
Boom Online Marketing has added High Street footwear retailer Shoe Zone to its client roster.
Having undertaken a thorough multi-stage pitch process, Shoe Zone enlisted Boom to deliver search engine optimisation for its growing ecommerce site. With 535 stores and annual revenue of c £170m, Shoe Zone is a significant player in the footwear sector.
Head of eCommerce at Shoe Zone, Andrew Council, said: “As part of our ongoing investment in ecommerce we need to drive our website sales, keep the site current and search friendly. Boom was the logical choice to take us to the next level with its in-house design expertise and the samejust-do-it attitude as Shoe Zone.”
Boom’s approach will include working on technical SEO with Shoe Zone’s in-house development team, expanding the keyword-focused content of the site in partnership with Shoe Zone’s marketing department and increasing the depth and quality of links to the site through creative content marketing.
