epm supports Derby cancer charity

After its first successful year in a new facility, epm: technology decided it was time to support a local organisation with a cause close to everyone’s hearts.

With Christmas quickly approaching, employee Mark Gould reached out to Annabel’s Angels - a Derby-based, registered charitable trust raising funds to support local cancer patients and their families.

Mark recently completed a fire walk for Annabel’s Angels.

epm: technology raised funds for the charity throughout December and today will host a Christmas fun day for their staff and academy at the Technology Centre, Derby.

Mark said: “We hope this is just the start of things to come between ourselves and Annabel’s Angels. We, as a company, have the opportunity and willingness to help this amazing charity and, with the support of our brilliant workforce, we can definitely help make a difference.

Graham Mulholland, CEO of epm: technology, said: "The team approached me and asked if we had any plans to support any charities.

“I asked the team to draw up plans and see who we could support locally. A number of the team have been touched by this cruel disease so it made sense to rally the team up and do a few activities to raise some much needed funds for Annabel’s Angels as we build up to Christmas. I am very proud and pleased to see team epm supporting Annabel’s Angels.”

Simon Hancox, Chair of Annabel’s Angels, said: "For many, Christmas is a time of reflection and a time for giving. Many of us will remember those who are no longer here and many will feel compelled to do something positive to help others over this festive period.

"I’m touched, humbled and very pleased that the epm: technology team will be fundraising to support Annabel’s Angels during this time. My fellow trustees and I are very grateful for the opportunity to work with epm: technology. We feel their values and principles match those of our own. We love the fact that both organisations are reputable, professional and are Derby-based. I’m hopeful that this is the start of a fruitful relationship.”
