PKF Cooper Parry creates Brexit Brigade
Midlands-based PKF Cooper Parry has assembled its very own squad of superheroes to rescue the region’s businesses from Brexit bemusement.
The Sunday Times Top 100 firm has created the Brexit Brigade, an intrepid band of seven of its brightest brains who have formed a ‘justice league’ who are on a mission to fight the current uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
The Brexit Brigade, made up of tax partner Matt Hodgson and tax director Suki Kaur, corporate finance director Ben Rookes, restructuring director Jeremy Birch, wealth director Jonathan Elsigood, business finance manager, Mark Huddlestone and audit partner, Andrew Honarmand, have tasked themselves with maintaining business confidence during this uncertain time.
They aim to dispel some of the myths concerning Brexit and advise the region’s businesses on what the UK’s decision to leave the European Union will really mean to them. They’ll also take a look at the current state of the post-Brexit economy and share their experience and expertise in a fresh, no-nonsense way.
Clients will be invited to take part in a monthly Brexit survey, which will allow them to get a real-time view of the impact that Brexit is having on their lives and businesses on a day-to-day basis.
A dedicated Brexit seminar will also be staged on 19 October at the firm’s Birmingham offices and 2 November at its East Midlands headquarters.
Speaking about the reasons behind the launch of the Brexit Brigade, CEO Ade Cheetham, said:
“Over the past couple of months there’s been lots of talk about what Brexit means for the UK, but to be honest, it’s largely been a series of soundbites and we still know very little about it, other than the declining value of our currency and slowing economic output.
“The business community is currently asking lots of questions, so our fearless team in the Brexit Brigade will seek out some of the answers and find out how the UK will trade and interact with its European neighbours in a post-Brexit world.”
To share your opinions on Brexit, or if you’ve got a question you’d like the Brexit Brigade to look in to, email email@example.com and one of the team will get back to you at lightning speed.
PKF Cooper Parry is one of the largest independent firms of business advisers in the Midlands with an established track record of helping local businesses and private clients in the UK and internationally.
The firm acts for more locally owned private businesses in the Midlands with a turnover in excess of £5m than any other accounting, tax and advisory firm.
In January 2016 the firm merged with Birmingham accountants Clement Keys to create a £30m turnover group with a 350 strong workforce spanning the East and West Midlands.Back
