Date set for Chamber’s Leicester Christmas lunch
The date has been announced for the first formal festive event of the Leicester social calendar.
East Midlands Chamber’s annual Christmas lunch will take place on 8 December this year at the King Power Stadium.
“I know, or hope, we haven’t seen the last of the summer’s sunshine yet but this is always a sell-out event so it’s important we let people know as soon as possible after we confirm the date exactly where and when it will take place so they can put it in their diaries and book tables,” said Scott Knowles, Chief Executive at East Midlands Chamber.
The festivities start at noon with a welcome drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal with wine.
After lunch, Doug Segal, billed as “entertainment’s best-kept secret” and a “comedy mind-reader with a difference” will regale guests with “feats of mental illusionism” mixed with stand-up comedy.
A charity raffle, with a range of fabulous prizes, will be held on the day with the proceeds going to the East Midlands Chamber Charitable Fund.
“The relaxed atmosphere at the Christmas lunch provides a great environment to entertain clients and guests, with plenty of opportunities to ‘work the room’ during the afternoon. With key business contacts from across the whole region, all in one place, the annual Christmas lunch kick-starts the Christmas season in Leicestershire for many businesses,” Scott added.
Tickets to the annual lunch cost only £58+VAT for Chamber members or you can book at table of ten for £550+VAT. Non-member tickets are £78+VAT or £750+VAT for a table of ten.
