Global specialist Hays sponsors regional PA network

Global recruitment specialist Hays has agreed to sponsor the East Midlands PA Network for the 2018/19 financial year.

The deal will give Hays membership of East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire), which supports the EMPA Network, and branding opportunities at all EMPA Network events.

Hays logoHays has regional offices in Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Chesterfield, employs over 10,800 people in 33 countries and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

The EMPA Network covers the three counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and is a peer-to-peer support network for Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants and other executive support staff.

It has over 500 members and is run by Lesley Dexter, East Midlands Chamber Executive Support Manager and Company Secretary.

Its aim is to support and connect EAs and PAs through training and networking opportunities, enabling members to build their personal profile and develop collaborative partnerships by networking face-to-face, connecting with like-minded peers and learning new skills.

Lesley said: “I am delighted to have a business as large and respected as Hays agree to sponsor us for the year. This will enable us to increase our events calendar and enhance our profile across the region.

“Hays is an established, global business with a strong and respected local presence and we look forward to enjoying closer working ties as the year progresses.”

Melissa Burnside, Senior Manager at Hays in Nottingham, said: “Across the East Midlands our PA consultants have worked alongside the East Midlands PA Network for a number of years, so it’s great to be able to provide further commitment in the form of sponsorship.

“We hosted a number of successful events with the network last year and are looking forward to this increasing throughout 2018/19, further supporting the number of network opportunities available for PAs and EAs across the region.”
