The summit will explore how the region can address this challenge to ensure there is a bright future for our local economies and our young people
Building on previous years' event, the Chamber's 2018 Employability and Skills Summit will continue to deliver against the manifesto aim - to bridge the gap between education and the world of work, thus creating an environment to improve competitiveness, innovation and productivity levels.
In response to the perennial problem employers face in accessing the right labour* to fulfill their needs the summit will bring together education providers, businesses and policy makers to discuss the practical ways in which the business and the education sector can work together more effectively to deliver the skills required for economic growth in the East Midlands.
