Latest Chamber Brexit Update video now live
The latest in a series of monthly Brexit Update videos from the East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) is now live.
Uncertainty surrounding Brexit negotiations – and consequently how the landscape will look once the UK leaves the EU on 29 March 2019 – continues to be a key concern for East Midlands-based businesses.
This is highlighted by the Chamber’s Quarterly Economic Survey - the biggest survey of its kind in the East Midlands – in which Brexit-related issues remain a commonly-recurring theme among business owners and leaders.
With negotiations and developments continuing in earnest following the summer recess, and with only seven months remaining until the UK leaves the EU, there has never been a more important time to be up to speed on Brexit.
The Chamber, predominantly through its Brexit Advisory Group, continues to work tirelessly on behalf of its members to ensure businesses in the East Midlands are best prepared to deal with challenges, while also being well positioned to take advantage of opportunities that will present themselves in the wake of Brexit.
In this video, the Chamber’s Director of Policy, Chris Hobson, updates members on recent Brexit developments and takes a look at the current state of the local economy in the midst of long-term uncertainty.Back
