Castle Rock sees turnover and profits rise

Bosses at Nottingham brewery and pub operator Castle Rock have raised a glass to a successful year after seeing turnover rise by almost £1m.

The increasing popularity of craft beer and real ale is one of the driving forces behind the end-of-year results for the company, based in Queensbridge Road, as well as the support and work of staff and customers.

The Harvest Pale producer, which operates more than 20 pubs across the East Midlands and Yorkshire, has reported a turnover of more £10.3m for the year ending 31 March, 2018. This is up from £9.5m for the previous year.

Pre-tax profits increased from £55,570 to £385,204 over the same period, the Notts Post reported.
