Business views wanted on impact of EEA workers on the UK

Following the publication of the Migration Advisory Committee’s (MAC) report on the impact of EEA workers on the UK, the Government’s Labour Markets team will be conducting a series of meetings with stakeholders in throughout November to gauge businesses feedback, address their concerns and priorities and understand what actions they are undertaking to prepare for Brexit.

The MAC team would like this to cover a range of sectors, in particular; construction, manufacturing and accommodation and food services sectors. Meetings will be a mixture of round-table discussions and one-to-one’s with business. If you are interested in taking part in discussions, dates and locations to be decided, please contact ian.bates@emc-dnl.co.uk in the first instance and your details will be passed to the BEIS Midlands Engine team, which is leading on this activity.
