Future Life becomes Patron of East Midlands Chamber

Financial planning company Future Life Wealth Management has become a Patron of award-winning East MIdlands Chamber as part of the company’s expansion plans.

The Chamber is the second largest in the country and covers Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. In November 2018 it was named Chamber of the Year by the British Chambers of Commerce and more recently was awarded Disability Confident Leader status.

Future Life Wealth Management Managing Director Jillian Thomas said the decision to accept the invitation to Patronage was based on plans to expand the business more into the Midlands.

Jillian, who is a Past President of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are extremely well known across South Yorkshire and have some fantastic clients and partners here, but we are keen to expand.

“Our office is on the edge of Sheffield, but technically in Derbyshire, so it makes sense to look in both directions.”

Future Life Wealth Management was set up by Jillian in late 2009 and offers a bespoke financial planning service to generators and receivers of wealth.

For the past six years Future Life has been listed in the New Model Adviser Top 100, which recognises financial planners nationally for their qualifications, income and commitment.

Jillian is also a winner of an East Midlands Institute of Directors director of the year award 2018 and Derbyshire Times Lifetime Achievement Award 2018. In 2017 she represented finance in the Parliamentary Review, a prestigious report which includes a foreword by Prime Minister Theresa May and is sent to more than 250,000 leading business executives and policymakers.

Chamber Chief Executive welcomed Future Life Wealth Managament to Patronage, saying: “I am delighted to welcome Future Life Wealth Management into Patronage. Chamber Patrons are a powerful force in influencing policy, driving economic growth and development and equipping smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future."

The Chamber has 37 Patrons, including DHL Express, East Midlands Airport, Experian, The Money Shop, Wilko and Santander.
