Our Online Events for April
As we all get used to new ways of working and a changing business environment, it is a good opportunity to learn new skills and techniques to maximise our productivity. It is also a chance to make connections in ways we may not have utilised previously.
For the month of April, the Chamber will be running a series of events. We hope that each one will give delegates takeaways that are useful not only over the coming months but also to take forward.
The webinars are proving to be very popular and numbers are limited, so make sure to book early and share with your colleagues to make sure you don't miss out.
A great chance to make some new connections even when you can't meet face-to-face. Our networking events have built some strong partnerships over the years and we are sure the online events will be no different.
Chief Executive Scott Knowles and Director of Policy and External Affairs, Chris Hobson, will go through what the pandemic will mean for business in the next few years and how it will affect the Chamber's lobbying activity.
There has been a lot of talk about the financial impact of Coronavirus on business, the emotional impact on staff has sometimes been overlooked. This event will help businesses to build an emotionally robust and resiliant workforce.
This webinar is about identifying the key players in all of your clients and having an effective and successful sales strategy to secure business for the long-term. It will unpack the techniques in building a successful and resiliant relationship with clients.
For our April Enterprising Women event we are delighted to be joined by Chamber President, Dawn Edwards. Dawn is founder of Challenge consulting and an expert in Leadership and Management training. She will lead delegates through what makes a great leader and give tips and advice for you to take away to your own business.
This event is aimed at Manufacturing and Engineering businesses and will give you the information you need to build an effective supply chain.
Another chance to build relationships, network and socialise with other business people when you can't meet face-to-face. Networking online is a very different atmosphere, but it is still an informal environment and we have had some great feedback.
The aim of this session is to provide participants with an understanding of human behaviour and negotiation to see how they can work well with customers to maximise results - developing a culture of involvement, and co-operation when negotiating.
Network with other businesses and learn more about the services that the Chamber has to offer. This networking event offers an informal environment to ask questions and learn how our services can work for you.
This informative webinar is a great chance to learn some useful techniques about how you can support your staff wellbeing when they aren't all in the same building. When you don't see each other every day it can be a challenge to know when people require support.
There are a few challenges in working from home and if it’s something you’re not used to, it will undoubtedly affect your productivity. This webinar help you be most productive whilst still keeping the home/ work balance.Back
