SMEs looking to grow in Leicester and Leicestershire can apply for a capital grant from between £5,000 to £25,000 as part of the Collaborate for Growth programme.
Collaborate, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and partners (the Chamber, Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and the Food and Drink Forum) is available to SMEs across Leicester and Leicestershire and includes free, confidential and specialist business advice, workshops, seminars and capital grants.
Grants can be used for premises improvement or expansion, computer hardware, tools or machinery. To be considered for the grant, your business must be looking to expand and grow. It must have fewer than 250 employees, have been trading a minimum of 12 months and sell business-to-business (not business-to-consumer/retail).
A wide variety of sectors are supported by the Collaborate project, including: food and drink manufacturing; creative industries; textile manufacturing; low carbon; logistics and distribution; tourism and hospitality; professional and financial services and engineering and advanced manufacturing.
