This webinar will explore the relationship between personal motivations and business strategy. It will consider the ‘Why?’ that drives the focus of the business and any new strategy or plan for change.

As strategic thinking and planning are mostly driven by those who own and/or control the business, it’s a good idea for them to understand and acknowledge their motivations and ambitions that will drive the business in its development.

This webinar will provoke participants to consider how they feel about the business and its future; for instance:

  • What do they want to put into it?
  • What do they want to get out of it?
  • What is their attitude to risk?
  • How long do they intend to stay with the business?
  • What is the exit plan?
  • What is in place around succession?

Participants will be encouraged to map their thinking and clarify their ideas about their motivations for business change. This will inform their next steps of the process; what is the business strategy?

This webinar is aimed at SMEs. Please note that preference will be given to businesses based in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire for this webinar.

Speaker Information
