Ian Baker currently runs a successful consultancy business that provides hands on support to small businesses within the healthcare, biotech, med-tech, and beauty categories. This support takes the form of 1-to-1 mentoring and coaching, strategy, business planning, and investor readiness training.
Prior to starting his consultancy, Ian worked across multiple SME’s and large global Blue Chip businesses (such as Boots, Reckitt Benckiser, Catalent, PCI Services, and Unilever) in Product Development, Project Management and Buying, but most predominantly in senior sales roles and as Managing Director for a global medical devices business.
Using his 25+ years of connections and experience, Ian is able to provide insights and expertise for businesses just starting out and seeking investment, or looking to scale up their commercial journey.
Ian currently sits on the board, as a Non-Executive Director, for two technology businesses as well as being a director and investor in three other small businesses.
