Launch your decade with funding, finance, business support plus access to talent, training, networks and more for Creative and Digital Businesses in the D2N2 Area.

Take Off 20 builds on previous sell-out events which have supported over 100 Creative and Digital businesses from across the local area. Join us on the launch pad to network and find out about the many areas of business support, and funding available.

This three-hour session offers you the opportunity to hear from a team of expert Business Advisers who will be on hand to answer your questions, direct you to the right support for your business and help you sign up to the support programmes which are best for you.

Prior to attending the event, you will need to submit an SME enrolment form providing details of your business. If you haven’t already done so, you can complete this now by downloading the form HERE

Please fully complete the form, sign it and return it by email to danny.sneddon@nottinghamcity.gov.uk. We must receive the completed SME Enrolment form prior to the event date in order to confirm your booking.

This is used as a record of support for auditing purposes as our project and Take Off 20 is fully funded under European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The D2N2 Growth Hub aims to power up your business by providing signposting, information and contacts for business services across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Our priority is to engage with business service providers (both public and private) directly for you to help small, medium and fully established sized businesses to grow and prosper.


In regulation with European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) the D2N2 Growth Hub can support your business if:

The business has fewer than 250 employees
The business is based in either Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire
Not more than 25% of the business is owned by an organisation that in itself is not an SME
Annual turnover is below £45 million

The Big House is a 6-year, £10 million tailored support programme for the Creative and Digital Industries (CDI) sector in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire. The Big House programme is being delivered through a partnership of seven business support organisations across the local area, with specialist expertise in different aspects of the Creative and Digital industries.

The programme has been created to support Creative and Digital businesses with growth and job creation in the region. It is open to CDI sector businesses at any stage of their development: from potential start-ups and new entrepreneurs, to established SMEs looking to expand and bring new products and services to market. Support on offer includes one-to- one advice, workshops, networking events and grant funding.

The Big House partners are The Creative Quarter company; Derby QUAD; Derby Theatre; NBV Enterprise Solutions Ltd; New Art Exchange; Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Derby.
