This webinar is hosted by the D2N2 Growth Hub, East Midlands Chamber and funded through BEIS.
Are you currently buying goods/components from overseas markets? Are these EU or third country transactions? Do you understand the difference?
At the end of the transition period with Europe in December all goods purchased from Europe will have to go through a customs clearance process. Companies who currently only trade with Europe may not be familiar with customs procedures and how this may potentially have implications on cost, process, and resource. More experienced importers may need to be reviewing their existing processes and whether they should be considering special customs procedures and authorisations.
This webinar will review the steps in the import process and highlight the key areas that businesses should be considering as they prepare for the UK’s new relationship with Europe.
Who Should Attend
Businesses who trade internationally and are interested in or will be affected by the UK exit from the EU. This webinar is aimed at SME businesses.
